| The Centre has a number of overseas collaborations in progress. These include Rutgers University, University of Texas at Arlington, Lucent Technologies and University of South Australia. In particular, the Centre is working with Rutgers University on an ad-hoc networking of Wi-Fi access points to extend its reach of wireless LAN . Jadavpur University has also been included to take part in the on-line IEEE 802.11x based experimentation program on the facilities created recently at Rutgers. Jadavpur University is the only university outside USA to have access to this experimental set-up, which is accessible remotely through the Internet. | |
